At the foot of the Les Tournavelles residence, Arc 1800 has plenty to keep skiers and non-skiers, young and old, busy in winter and summer alike.
In winter
Skiing on Les Arcs and Paradiski
The ski area starts at the foot of the apartment. Beginners enjoy a learning area with a free rope tow, and sledging runs can be reached from the slopes. Experienced skiers join the ski lifts about 200 m away and head for Arc 1950, Arc 1600, Peisey-Vallandry or the Aiguille Rouge. The Vanoise Express links Les Arcs to La Plagne: together they form the Paradiski ski area.
The ESF ski school and the lift pass offices are about a hundred metres away. Freestyle fans will find snowparks for all levels, and a cross-country ski trail starts at the top of the Jardin Alpin chairlift.
